Hello, weekenders.
Hope wherever you are on the globe you are doing wonderful this weekend, and if you are not doing so great then I send from my heart to yours some love and light while you navigate through the hard times.
Do you ever get red flags, a feeling in your stomach or an inkling that something feels either not quite right or alternatively maybe it feels absolutely positive and meant to be?
Do you wish you had your own guiding force or superpower that enabled you to feel what decisions to make, who to trust, where to go from here and so forth?
Intuition feels out of reach for many, and it is one of the most popular topics that draw intrigue and interest on my blog and at my yoga retreats; because truthfully for most of us we want to know that we are supported and guided on our journey through life.
No matter who you are or where you are – you have the power to tap into your intuition to seek guidance and support. All the wisdom and guidance is available to you - you just have to get quiet enough within to be able to connect with it and hear it.
This week I am excited to bring to you my very first Soulful Conversation where I talk with Robyn on how to learn to tune in, listen and trust your own intuition and guiding force. During this 45 minute conversation with Robyn Louise from Stardust Readings, we talked about what intuition is, how to recognise it, what signs and signals to look for and so much more.
I truly hope this weekend that you listen and enjoy this conversation and that it inspires you to trust your own inner knowing much more. I personally know for myself it reinforced the importance of trusting the red flags when they arise within; as something I tend to do is constantly make excuses for people's bad behaviour and give them the benefit of the doubt only to be burnt by them further down the road - I am sure I am not alone in that [lol].
We all have that internal knowing. So how do we tune in and trust our own internal knowing? A few ways to hear the voice of intuition are:
1. Breathe, relax, and clear the mind. Get clear on what you want, what matters to you, and stop focusing on what you can't change. 2. Get to know your true self. Take the time to learn and discover what you love, believe, and so forth. If we don't take the time to know ourselves, then modern culture will tell us how we should think, feel, and act. And when you know yourself, it is then that intuition can guide you. 3. Look for the signs and signals. Watch for coincidences and notice the red flags, the goosebumps and that inkling within. Take note of all the books that fall off the shelf in front of you. 4. Trust the process. Trust in your own voice and in your own knowing. 5. Train it. The more you use it, the stronger it will become.
This weekend try and find some stillness within and see if you can identify some ways your intuition communicates with you - it may be through feelings, smells, a knowing, goosebumps, signs, signals, opportunities and so forth. The more time we spend trying to listen and understand how our intuition communicates with us the easier it becomes to tune in, listen and trust it.
If you would like to listen to the Awakening Your Intuition podcast you will find a link to it just below, plus there is also my latest meditation for releasing anxiety.
Have a great weekend allowing yourself to be guided and re-orientated as you follow the lead of your intution. With gratitude Claire
